Working full time in the Corporate world with geeky jobs, we knew nothing about business. But we were able to not only purchase a business, but also make it profitable, all in a span of few years. Have we solved all the problems out there? Maybe not. But have we done tons of research which can help you? Definitely yes!

If you have big dreams, if you are looking for a new challenge, if you want to get started with your business or your side hustle, if you are willing to put in the hard work, then you are in the right place. It is not easy but is it totally do-able.

This blog shares several resources, learnings and mistakes, research, questions and answers to those questions – all in one handy place, so you can BEGIN your journey as as a woman entrepreneur. This is the community of woman business owners, of side-hustlers, of “go-getters”, who in spite of their 9 to 5 jobs or personal obligations want to build a business of their own. So, gather your questions and thoughts, calm your anxieties, grab your notebook, and join us on this journey of starting your business and running it successfully and growing it!

Why we exist?

Our mission is to help women in the following areas of business:

Budding women entrepreneurs who are on the fence about starting their own business, but are plagued by doubts and insecurities
Women business owners who have started a new small business venture, but have questions on daily operations and best practices
Women business owners looking to make their processes more efficient, continuously improve and grow their revenue

Our goal is to create an online resource of practical guides, checklists, cheatsheets and lessons learned documents for women business owners helping them minimize time spent on research and analysis. This is our attempt at collating resources for small businesses, all in one place.

How this site is organized?

We have laid out the site with the key categories that align with our mission statement.

The ‘Start It’ section includes posts about the things to consider when you are starting off. Whether it is: the type of business to start off, creating a business plan, doing financial analysis or understanding the essential skill set needed to start the business, it’s all here.

The ‘Run It’ section is about helpful articles on daily operations for Home Services businesses.

The ‘Grow It’ section is focussed on the areas you should be focussing on to grow your business. Growing your business can mean different things to different people: growing revenue, optimizing processes, increasing cash flow or profits. This section also includes reports and performance metrics that you can use to analyze and assess how your business is performing.

Last but definitely not the least, ‘The Resources’ section has a collection of checklists, how to guides and cheat sheets, all available for you to download for free. These are in PDF format so they can be easily downloaded.
